The Bible tells us that when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are given spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7). These gifts — along with our interests abilities, hobbies, likes and dislikes — make us who we are. God takes who He has made you and matches it with the needs of others. In this way, the local church is equipped with exactly what it needs to carry out God's plan for our church and community.
